Our association follows the lineage of two of the most influential masters in modern Chinese and Taiwanese history. Master Yin Guang, the 13th Patriarch of the Pure Land school, emphasized sincerity, morality, and faith. His lay disciple, Professor Li Bingnan, was a leading educator in Taiwan who mastered not only Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism, but also the wider body of Chinese classics. Continuing this heritage, Teacher Tang Yu-ling carries forward their mission of sharing Chinese wisdom with the world.
